A league schedule has been prepared for the usual summer leagues period. Please note these are a ‘one-off’ and have been created solely to get people out there playing tennis again. And a slightly different format. In order to minimise off-court social interaction, each league tie will consist of each couple playing 3 sets against their opposing pair, i.e. 1 v 1, 2 v 2 and 3 v 3.
There will be no promotion or relegation from these leagues. On the basis that things will have returned to ‘normal’ by 2022, the leagues for that year will be based on the results from the 2019 season.
With that in mind, call your captain(s), get into a team, and get playing again.
Here are the updated scoresheets for these ties
The full regulations for this summer’s leagues is available here. This includes details of the match format (section B).
See you on court.
