2022 Summer Leagues

Is this the new ‘normal’?

Who knows? With optimism borne of the stoic attitude of “lets get these matches played”, a full schedule for summer and autumn matches has been prepared. You can see the schedules here and copies of the Handbook are being sent out (online only) as I write this Post.

Good luck — to us all! — and here’s hoping for a decent season: of weather; of tennis; and of health.

2019 Fixtures

Hello everyone

Today is 6 April and the 2019 fixtures are now ready to view on this site. The handbook has gone to print but please note that, because of last year’s GDPR legislation*, the full handbook is not being published in full on the website.

Printed copies will be sent to each club secretary as soon as they are available. Each club will be provided with enough copies so that one is available for each team captain.

* We have suspicions that email information from the website was used in phishing attempts of several TCS clubs recently. Please be alert to unexpected emails from ‘officials’ in your own clubs!

2018 Handbook

Today is 2 April and the 2018 TCS Handbook has been added to the website.

In addition, you club secretary should have been contacted to confirm the details.

The Handbook has gone to print and so copies should be issued to the clubs in the next week or so.

  • Update: the links to the Handbook have been removed so that the Handbook cannot be accessed directly from the website. Club Secretaries have hard copies but, for GDPR reasons, only the match fixtures are now available on this site. (TCS Admin October 2018)

2018 TCS Fixtures

Here are the fixtures for the 2018 TCS Summer and Autumn leagues.

As usual there’s a bit of date juggling  that goes on but it should be OK.

As of today (28th March) there are a couple of contact details to update and then the whole Handbook will be put online. It will also go to the printers this week and hard copies will be sent to each of the TCS club secretaries.

If you have any queries or corrections, small ones can be updated online. Contact me here (TCS Admin) if such a change is needed. If it’s a question of dates and/or logistics, however, the easiest way to resolve it is simply to contact the opposition captain and arrange an alternative date if you can.

2017 Fixtures

Hopefully that’s the date juggling pretty much sorted for another year!

Copies of the 2017 handbook will be issued to clubs in the next few days (1st week of April) but you can see the full version here from today – 30th March.

We’ve checked the schedule as best we can but, inevitably, there may be odd conflicts. Apologies if there are. The handbook has gone to print but (minor) changes can be accommodated in the online version.

If it’s just a typo or Home/Away mix up, the best way to resolve it is to check with your team captain and for them to agree a solution with the opposition captain.

If it’s a contact typo we can correct that for you. Let me know here at TCS Admin.

New Handbook & Fixtures for 2016 season

The 2016 handbook is at the printers and should be delivered shortly. At that point it will also be added to this website so that you can all see it.

The TCS elves have been busy and juggling the 2016 fixtures to avoid any clashes with two teams playing at home. If you think you’ve found one, please let the Handbook Secretary know and she will throw the latest copy of the handbook at the poor sap who worked out the fixtures (er, me!)
